Who We Consider for Inclusion

We consider profiles for individuals who meet at least two of the criteria below:

Independent Coverage

  • Mentions or profiles in reputable media publications

Public Interest

  • Measurable search visibility

  • Ongoing relevance within a defined professional field

  • Clear reason for public reference or third-party research

Verifiability

  • Identity can be independently verified

  • Career history can be supported by third-party sources

  • Claims can be clearly distinguished from outcomes or opinion

What We Do Not Accept

We do not accept profiles that fall into the following categories:

  • Individuals seeking purely promotional or marketing exposure

  • Influencer or celebrity profiles without professional substance

  • Profiles based primarily on self-published or unverifiable sources

  • Anonymous, pseudonymous, or fictional identities

  • Submissions intended solely for search engine optimisation

Notable Profiles is not a substitute for social media, PR platforms, or personal websites.

Editorial Review Process

All submissions are reviewed against the same editorial framework:

  1. Eligibility review against inclusion criteria

  2. Identity verification

  3. Source assessment and hierarchy weighting

  4. Editorial drafting using neutral, factual language

  5. Final review prior to publication

We reserve the right to:

  • Decline a submission without explanation

  • Request additional verification

  • Amend or remove profiles that no longer meet criteria

Ongoing Review & Maintenance

Inclusion is not permanent.

Profiles are:

  • Periodically reviewed

  • Updated as new verified information becomes available

  • Amended where inaccuracies or outdated information are identified

Each profile displays a “Last verified” date to maintain transparency.

Notable Profiles operates independently from platforms such as Wikipedia.
